Science and faith- the contradiction

Again, science finds no divine intent or any other intent so all the religious are doing is practicing animism from full animism to polytheism and theism as my theism = reduced animism notes.
How could a rational person have a relationship with a non-existent intent?
Theists must adduce evidence of how God works in the Cosmos in a general way or else they just fall back on the arguments from personal incredulity and from ignorance.
Theistic evolutionists know that evolution works but desire to put divine intent behind it ,making for my  new Omphalos argument that He thereby deceives us as Philip Gosse's original one states He does that with apparent ancient age for phenomena.
Anaximanes and Anaximander and others long ago knew better!
Thus, theistic evolutionists prattle when they claim that evolution could be His method of creation; theistic evolution is no more than an oxy-moronic obfuscation!
Alister Earl McGrath cannot gainsay this statement with his specious reasoning.
What is your take on theistic evolution?
